Getting Ready for Golf Season Pt II – Stretching and Balancing

Shawn Keough, PGA of Canada and Class A instructor at the Big Sky Golf Academy returns to share tips on stretching out for golf season, so you can hit the tee in top condition.

Take two minutes to check out these stretches and balancing exercises to strengthen your core and improve your swing.

  • Shawn starts off with stork turns assist with optimal leg rotation for a more efficient back swing.
  • On hands and knees extending opposite arm and leg strengthens the core for more efficient, consistent swings.
  • End with sitting shoulder rotations using a chair back to keep your back straight and encourage separate upper/lower body movement.
